What is Redtail’s Training from Home:
Victory in a Virtual World series?

Redtail wants to continue providing our world-class group training experiences while many of us are spending more time staying connected from the comfort of our own homes, patios, pools, or elsewhere.

Our Autumn series, Victory in a Virtual World, will expand the focus on many of the popular situations and topics asked about during our Summer Series. We’ll be focusing on office preparedness and efficiency, better managing your historical items, improving client data, and more!

Victory in a Virtual World will touch briefly on beginner features, but will mostly be focused on intermediate and advanced scenarios and applications of the CRM. If you’re looking for more specific, point-and-click training on Redtail, we suggest connecting with one of our trainers one-on-one, signing up for our Continuing Education webinars on Thursdays, or viewing our Summer Series recordings.

Day 1

Ready to dive in? Grab your coffee, tea, or energy drink and jumpstart your day! For both new and experienced Redtail users, this topic will feature time-saving tips in utilizing Redtail along with recommendations for creating positive, foundational CRM habits to promote office success.

9:45am – 10:30am — Tackling Templates
A consistent client experience depends on everyone in the office being on the same page. Creating your own Activity & Note Templates will empower you and your staff to set standard guidelines and expectations for client interactions, records, and follow-ups. These are also huge efficiency-boosters!

10:30am – 10:45am — Break Time

10:45am – 11:30am — Searching Made Simple
Working with multiple contacts at once is not only common, but also highly streamlined through many of the processes made simpler through Redtail CRM. That’s why it’s important for you to understand the tools available that can assist with sharpening your client focus. We’ll be breaking down the Advanced Search tool in Redtail CRM so you can easily turn that focus onto the clients, prospects, or other contact records who meet the specific criteria you care about.

11:30am – 12:00pm — Overseeing Operations
Come learn how to use your Redtail CRM to monitor your practice from anywhere, anytime. We will explore how to track staff productivity, identify bottlenecks in your processes, and find ways to keep your team productive by seeing which clients and prospects need your attention the most.

Day 2

9:15am – 9:45am — Controlling Your Calendar
Tasks, Phone Calls, and Webinar Meetings—oh my! Time management all leads back to the calendar. For this topic, you’ll be learning all about ways to customize what displays on the calendar as well as best practices for making it through your busy schedules like a pro!

9:45am – 10:30am — Client Communications
Every interaction with a client leaves an impression. Let’s talk about how to ensure that clients receive required correspondence, essential communications, and exciting, tailored messages that engage and inspire!

10:30am – 10:45am — Break Time

10:45am – 11:30am — Leveraging the Lifecycle
For this topic, we’ll model an optimal client lifecycle within Redtail CRM. Using advanced tools like Opportunities and Workflows in the CRM will allow you to prospect, onboard, and then consistently review your clients so you can record all the necessary pieces to make sure you are well prepared.

11:30am – 12:00pm — Victory in a Virtual World
Whether you are working from home or from the office, you can be victorious with your CRM. This final topic is where we will review everything we have learned from this two-day series in our Skills Challenge!

Katherine Beltran
Trainer / Admiral of Activities

Katherine Beltran joined Redtail’s Training team at the beginning of 2019 and has spent the year attending/presenting at Redtail Universities and applying her new Redtail knowledge to assist in 1-on-1 trainings. Prior to her time with Redtail, she honed her passion for creating memorable client experiences through positions at Disneyland and American Airlines. Katherine earned her bachelor’s degree in Hospitality from Northern Arizona University in 2012. Besides an interest in baseball (huge Anaheim Angels fan), Katherine is a self-proclaimed Disney-holic, movie-fanatic, and master stress baker.

Trainer / Workflow Wizard

Curtis Ware, aka the Workflow Wizard, started working with Redtail in 2012 as part of the Customer Support Team, and shortly after made the move to training. Before joining Redtail, he worked as a Photography Trainer. Curtis has a passion for training and loves finding new ways to troubleshoot issues that arise so he can pass those tools on for both coworkers and users to learn.

Trainer / Empress of Efficiency

Hayley Mandrup, aka the Empress of Efficiency, first joined the Redtail Customer Support team in 2013. She is passionate about organization and time management – always looking for ways to streamline internal processes and better the customers’ experience. Hayley also has continued her education and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. Her degree program mainly focused on office procedures and motivational tactics for improving employee performances.

Trainer Austin Johnson
Austin Johnson
Trainer / Apostle of Automation

Austin Johnson, aka the Apostle of Automation, is our newest trainer. He is passionate about making complex ideas and processes easy to understand and use. He is always looking for and finding new, innovative ways to save both time and money. Prior to joining Redtail in 2018, Austin cooked up delicious cheeseburgers at the west-coast famous In-N-Out Burger while earning his Bachelor's in Marketing Management. Currently, Austin is working hard to earn his M.B.A in Finance and hopes to one day earn a CFA certification.
