And, while we believe that track record of providing support to those in this industry is relevant, we also believe it’s important you understand that you don’t have to use every available feature we’ve developed over the years within Redtail right out of the gate. That can seem overwhelming, and there’s absolutely no reason you can’t ramp up your Redtail usage over time as you are able to familiarize yourself with everything it makes possible. During your CRM shopping/evaluation period, it’s important to know what you need your CRM to do for you. That said, when you settle on candidates, you need to verify that the contenders are flexible enough to adapt to your needs as you grow your business.
In this regard, the customization possibilities that Redtail puts at your disposal are extensive. That scalability, available right out of the box, allows you to pick and choose exactly which features and functions of the CRM you want to use at any given time. Even better, it’s hassle-free to do so – everything is already there and in place, with no outreach calls to make, no add-ons or downloads required, etc. If you want to give something in Redtail a try that you haven’t used up to that point, you can dive right in.
One suggestion we always make to new subscribers is that they designate a database director. We talk about the importance of that role here in regard to database cleanup and maintenance. This same individual can chart a course for how your office will go about incorporating different features of the CRM into your daily practice as well. This doesn’t mean individual database users shouldn’t familiarize themselves with what’s possible, but keeping everyone rowing in the same direction when introducing tools tends to promote both adoption and consistent usage.

While it is easy to use and to navigate, Redtail is a feature-rich piece of software with tons of functionalities that largely work together but which are also valuable as standalones prior to putting every feature available to use. Don’t worry if in the beginning you only have time to start with the basics; as you have time and your business needs change, you can lean in hard to mastery. And, we’ll be there to support you!
