A little background

We’ve been thinking about the huge hurdles advisors must overcome to create and manage effective marketing campaigns for many years, as the marketing process is frequently mentioned as a pain point for many advisors. As we found in our own 2019 AdvisorComms Survey of more than 3,200 wealth management professionals across the United States, 22% of respondents indicated their offices do not tailor marketing content to their clients at all. More telling, of the respondents who do, less than 6% consider any client characteristics outside of age, income, gender or education for the purpose of crafting tailored client content. Putting it bluntly, generic content that doesn’t take anything into account other than basic demographic info is unlikely to move the needle much in terms of an advisor’s prospecting or client engagement efforts.

Redtail Campaigns’s easy-to-use campaign builder, powered by Snappy Kraken (the leader in financial advisor marketing automation software), allows you to minimize the time required to manage your marketing efforts:

  • Campaigns run at different cadences and include different elements and varying runtimes.
  • Campaign elements include but are not limited to: emails, social posts (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter), newsletters, landing pages with calls-to-action, forms, etc. You exercise control over which elements, if any, you’d like to disable for a given campaign.
